Conor Jordan

Internal memos issued Friday afternoon at Christie’s announced Conor Jordan as the new head of the Impressionist and Modern Department in New York, effective immediately.

Jordan replaces Guy Bennett, who left Christie’s in July. Jordan will run the New York office, working with Cyanne Chutkow and Sharon Kim. Chutkow was also promoted to International Director.

Jordan joined the Impressionist and Modern Department in 1997 in London, and relocated to New York in 2006.

Chutkow joined the department in 1986 and managed the Day Sales. Both Jordan and Chutkow were previously Senior Vice Presidents and Senior Specialists.
