The 59th Street Columbus Circle subway has completed a face-lift, including the installation of a major mural executed with 250 porcelain tiles in six colors.
The piece is unveiled on what would have been LeWitt’s 82nd birthday. The artist died in 2007.
A show “Sol LeWitt: Forms Derived from a Cube” is on view at PaceWildenstein from Sept. 8 to Oct. 17 at 32 East 57th.
